From a family tea shop,

Our story starts at one small shop where tea was sold the honest way — by the gram, straight from the sack. That same raw leaf now weighs out behind a proper counter, in your city.

1987

A small tea shop

Station Road, Indore. A family shop selling raw loose-leaf tea by weight — weighed honest, bagged fresh, no dust passed off as leaf.

2005

The name sticks

Buyers started asking for the strongest lot by name — 'kadak'. The name outgrew the shelf.

    Two leaves and a bud, picked by hand at dawn.

    WITHER

    12–18 hours to soften and lose the water weight.

  3. 03

    ROLL

    Orthodox leaf is rolled by hand; CTC is cut.

  4. 04

    OXIDISE

    Rested until the leaf turns copper and smells like autumn.

  5. 05

    FIRE + GRADE

    Fired to lock it in, then graded CTC or whole leaf.

  6. 06

    PACK

    Sealed within 30 days, lot-tagged at the store.

  7. 07

    BREW

    3g, 200ml, 95°C, three minutes. Then taste.
